- Ordinary World: Panda works with his dad in his noodle restaurant and dreams to be a warrior with the famous 5.
- Call to Adventure: Panda goes to the temple were a wise turtle will choose the dragon warrior and the panda gets shut out so he find away in and the turtle ends up choosing him to be the dragon warrior.
- Refusal of the Call: He trains as a warrior but he doesn't think he is the true dragon warrior.
- Meeting the Mentor: The master is annoyed that the panda is chosen so he doesn't train him fairly.
- Crossing the First Threshold: After the famous 5 accept him as one of them the panda starts believing in himself.
- Test, Allies and Enemies: panda, famous 5 and their master all come to terms with the fact panda is the dragon warrior and how they need to stop the evil tiger.
- Approaching to the Cave: panda's master finds that panda will do anything for food and he chooses to train him with food.

Todorov's Narative Structure
The Quest: Shrek- Shrek is about an ogre that has his own land that is being taken over so he goes to the king to reclaim his land, the king says he can have his land back only if he goes to the castle and retrieve the princess from the dragon. Shrek recovers the princess and hands her to the king but Shrek has fallen in love with her. It turns out that the princess turns into an ogre when it is night time, they both fall in love and live happily ever after.

EDITING TERMS
Cut A movement created in editing in which one shot is instantaneously replaced on screen by another.
Continuity Editing:Editing that creates action that flows smoothly across shots and scenes without jarring visual inconsistencies. Establishes a sense of story for the viewer.
shot reverse shot cutting:Usually used for conversation scenes, this technique alternates between over-the-shoulder shots showing each character speaking.
Cross Cutting:Cutting back and forth quickly between two or more lines of action, indicating they are happening simultaneously.
Dissolve: A gradual scene transition. The editor overlaps the end of one shot with the beginning of the next one.
Editing :The work of selecting and joining together shots to create a finished film.
errors of continuity Disruptions in the flow of a scene, such as a failure to match action or the placement of props across shots.
Establishing Shot: A shot, normally taken from a great distance or from a bird's eye view, that establishes where the action is about to occur.

In this essay i am going to Analise and deconstruct the following two pictures. Using ideology , Binary oppositions and semiotics.
Firstly the photo on the left, its of the statue of liberty and the statue of liberty symbolizes the freedom throughout the world and stands in the hearts of Americans and the crown, robes and flaming torch is inspiration to American pride.
The thick black smoke which is behind the statue of liberty shows a binary opposition because the statue is something of pure origin and the smoke refers to destruction and carnage. When i saw this photo i thought of the twin towers because it was a major disaster and cause alot of mayhem.
Now the photo on the right is also taken in America but its of a building that has been knocked through and destroyed and this is also a binary opposition because they photographer has purposly left the top of the pentagon in the photo frame, The pentagon is white and white is considered PURE so leaving the white pentagon , the pure pentagon in the back ground of a tampered destroyed ruin shows the effect of the opposition
